Spaces & templates

BrainDeer works with images in native patient space and in template spaces (e.g. MNI). Atlas-related plugins expect a Lead-DBS template layout, for example:

• ~/leadDBS/leaddbs/templates/space/MNI152NLin2009bAsym/
• ~/Documents/Toolboxes/leadDBS/leaddbs/templates/space/MNI152NLin2009bAsym/

The directory should contain atlases/ and typically t1.nii.

Change the template root

If your template lives elsewhere, set the environment variable:

export LEADDBS_SPACE_ROOT="/path/to/MNI152NLin2009bAsym"
